My opinion of this pistol is less than stellar.  I found it way too narrow to be comfortable in my hands.  I have small hands (size 6.5 for those of you in the know on hands), so I never expected to find a gun I felt was too small.  In addition, it recoiled in a way that banged the knuckle at the base of my thumb.  Ouch!  I had quite the red spot at the end of the hour we were there.  I'm sure some of that is my relative newness to handguns and an imperfect grip.  But I could feel the 'jump' of this little pistol so much more than the big ones I've used previously.  Also, apparently something about if causes me to jerk down when the gun fires.  No good at all.  My husband didn't like it either though he did manage to get it to shoot where he wanted.

So, my final vote was a no.  Not comfy in my hands to hold or fire, and I can't aim it to save my life.  Right out for fun and defense!

One thing I did like was the ambidextrous mag release under the trigger.  It was very easy for me to reach and use without having to twist the gun in my hand the way I do to reach traditional releases on the side of the grip.

Upon leaving, when I turned it back in, Christian asked how I liked it.  I told him "not at all."  He surprised me by saying "good!"  He also feels that it's too narrow and just not a fun gun to fire.  On his recommendation I held an H&K p30.  Super comfy!  May have to try it out next time we go to the range. The p2000was already on my list, but I'm ok with trying more!
